Meet the Roscoe– Rutters

Roscoe-Rutter is David & Helen. Between us, we bring over 20 years of experience in photography, film and design — from agency work to freelance commissions. Our backgrounds in the creative sector give us a broad perspective and a shared passion for telling stories through images and ideas.

A love of visual communication brought us together, and since then we’ve discovered we share much more, including two wonderful children. Life and ideas, home grown!

There are no set rules or formulas in our work. We believe the best projects grow through collaboration and trust, which means we listen to your ideas, you listen to ours and together we turn them into something meaningful and inspiring.

David

With the pull of creativity never too far away, David completed his BA Hons Digital Design degree before joining Boxer design agency in Birmingham as a junior designer working on packaging, digital and design. After travelling the world, freelance gigs and experimentation with photography, David co-founded Roscoe Rutter with Helen. With over 20 years experience David has worked with a variety of clients creating authentic content through visual stories.

Photographer / Yoga teacher

Helen

Helen is a creative facilitator, photographer and Yoga teacher. Helen completed her BA Hons Fine Art degree, competed in international athletics and started her professional career as a portrait photographer. After travelling the world, Helen now weaves together creativity, story telling, yoga teaching, retreats and workshops that incorporate movement, nature, mindfulness and artistic endeavours.

Roscoe Rutter – Est. 2014

Roscoe Rutter has worked across photography, film and visual storytelling projects for a wide range of creative, cultural and commercial clients. Notable collaborations and projects include work for Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ferrari and Range Rover, alongside editorial commissions for Octane Magazine, Progressive Content and Drapers Magazine.

Their cultural and arts work includes projects with RNCM – Royal Northern College of Music, RAM – Royal Academy of Music and documentary and self initiated exhibitions projects such as Subtle Rebellion at Mura Ma. They have also created visual campaigns and films for brands and organisations including Barclays, City Plumbing and George House Trust.
